I was the first person to let them know, and without putting it on the board, all they had to go on was info from me only.

There galleries are lined throughout my free sites, so the sooner it was taken care of, the sooner my surfers didnt get the trojans.

btw tcg you might wanna check this thread , someone else (spacemonk) was asking about that same domain you guys got hacked with , seems like he got hacked with it to, so you might wanna share information/solutions

deadly important because , lets say you have a return traffic of 100k a day and they all check the top 5 galleries and one of them is tcg gallery . lets just say this was a 0-day exploit that got everyone.. the way the script worked it recorded the referrer, so they could actually code an exploit that would change only the hosts file of the sites it got lots of hits from..

conclusion. every signle one of the 100k people that came back to your site everyday will now be redirected to another site and will never be able to get back..(unless they get uninfected )

So if you had a 100ktgp , you could turn it into a 0 hits tgp overnight with one bad exploit..

This doesnt seem to be the case, and ive cleared the air between myself and deisel. I dont make 10 grand a year from a program if it dont convert, and it actually converts like a mofo, hence the great sales, and we will continue to promote deisel-everything.

They got on the server somehow. They uploaded a trojaned apache. Ran it along side the normal one and when it served pages it added some html to the index page. No changing of affiliate codes... These people are after zombie computers for bot nets and sometimes they will also try to install dialers and toolbars to make cash.

if these people are hi jacking the galleries for the program. Shouldn't it be pretty easy to see who it is? At least on TCG's side of things? Match the affil id to the person.

Or am i missing something here?
