India seals high-tech U.S. arms deal
Now whats wrong with this story? India will be allowed to buy more sophisticated fighter aircraft and other high-tech arms from the United States as part of a closer defense relationship between the two nations, the U.S. says. The deal will be viewed with interest by India's regional rival Pakistan, which is seen by the U.S. as a key ally in the war on terror. Pakistan and India, which BOTH possess nuclear weapons, have a frosty relationship -- with tensions regularly rising especially over the disputed Kashmir region. http://www.cnn.com/ |

				 | India provides our fortune 500 companies with plenty of skilled/computer savvy slave labor. That should pretty much end all questions as to why we help them out.

				 | India's probably going to surpass China's GDP year on year growth very soon. This is a great deal for the US and also a great way to ensure that India's military and civilian nuclear initiatives are separated. It's a good deal for both sides. |
