Pisses me off that they make it sound like she DESERVED some of those hundreds of millions the movie made. It made the money cause of marketing.
In 1972 there were HUNDREDS of hoes willing to suck and fuck for $1200. (worth about $10,000 in today's dollars)
She's lucky she got paid what she did, many models (a LOT better looking and better at head than her) don't even make $1000 in Today's dollars for a movie.

See that?s the thing, people always say she didn?t make any money... but she did have 4.. Count that Four best selling sold out Auto-Biographies... do you think she could have sold 4 best sellers if she wasnt in Deep Throat and the 4 other movies where she played the same charecter. I'm not talking shit though, because Deep throat was the first porn i had ever saw. And then it was House of Strange Desires.
