Who knows who has the ability to delete posts around here or not? I've had people say some pretty nasty things to me before, personally or about business, and I have never asked anyone to delete a thread. Other than Eric, I wouldn't have any idea who handles that sort of thing.

Nor am I going to start chasing around mods to ask who deleted my thread. As I said, maybe the fact that I didn't post an email that wasn't specifically addressed to me was the cause of it, but if Lens hadn't started this thread I wouldn't really have mentioned it... I was just very surprised.

you drop people into positions of power with out any back ground knowledge of a TON of other people and crazyness is bound to happen.

not to mention is place is filled with smart asses, and people who are ready to go to the matt for what ever reason.

Can't please everyone, that's what it comes down to. This is a busy and successful board, delegating moderation of it will never be easy. I enjoy GFY and if overall the mods make more good than bad decisions I will continue to be happy, I'm sure :)

Goddamn, I am gone for about a month, and when i come back i see headless banned, alien banned, new mods, some fucking pain in the ass skin when ya first open the board, and everyone at each others throats... i been spending the last hour reading all the threads pertaining to all of this... crazy stuff...

i like headless, i find him a bit entertaining at times (those of you who are going to flame with a comment about being easily entertained can go ahead and fuck off now)... i like jimthefiends posts too... he seems kinda crazy, but thats part of what i like about 'em...

as far as that "strike list", gimme a fucking break... noone would be here if all those rules got you banned... i respect the job that the mods have to do... i am not in thier shoes, so i dont know how hard it is to be a mod... ya'll DO need to go ahead and unban em... (not because i like headless or anything, but because i've seen alot more bullshit than this from folks, and not a damn word gets said about it)

those of you who are agreeing with the mods on this one, i can understand you doing so, but those of ya who are blatantly sucking mod dick, need to grow some fucking balls...

i hope headless and alien will be back sometime soon, again, not because i enjoy some of headless' posts, but because he didnt need banned (if you go by what has happened here in the past that people have gotten away with)

lensman is in a difficult position now - if he allows headless to return then he basically castrates his moderator who will not be taken seriously anymore - if he holds the ban - then they must enforce it for everyone who does pretty much the same as headless. I agree with ronaldo that we need to remove the surfers and kids first rather than ban industry people.

My feeling is compromise - give headless a week ban as punishment informing anyone who does the same it will not be tolerated - but not a lifetime ban.

A few posts were deleted in that thread of rip-productions including some
of mine. I went to the provider of rip-productions and got them shutdown. :thumbsup

TexasDreams needs his M0D status taken away. He bans/puts people into "miserable user" status left and right. The guy is on a fucking power trip.

Take away his mod powers and make him admin the fucking server instead.
