I beleive what it really comes down to, is that the TGP's don't want to loose a surfer the second they visit the first gallery. They don't want to stop you from making money, but minimize the amount you make so that there is some left over for them... whether that is the bigger half or the smaller half is another question...

No, they stopped allowing those phrases because there used to be a lot more blind-click programs around and people would simply throw up some shit gallery with "enter here" at the bottom and they'd get paid on the first-page click-through.

Also, I doubt the Hun said that about TGP galleries... For paysite tours or AVS front-ends, sure, you don't want to waste a bunch of time with warning pages, you want to get them right to the join page. But for TGP galleries you need to tell the surfer where to click or else they'll never see the site you're promoting, they'll just wander on back to the TGP they came from.

Like FatPAD said, if you run into a site that gives you shit about submissions, take them off your list and move on to the next site.

I like the New TGP's.... They want you to submit to them (and they send you shit for traffic)
and have ALL kinds of rules.
Am sure what they do is go copy the big guys rules and think they going to get rich, Pin Head's.

I've had decent luck with galleries that have my pics, my sponsor banner and/or text link, and, down at the bottom, an H2 or H3 sized line that says "Gallery courtesy of" and then one of my site names inside a link tag. Even the hun has posted a couple of these galleries. I guarandamtee I've made more money off the traffic I get that way than I've ever made from gallery page sales themselves.

They don't give a fuck if you are making money or not.

They want your pictures and bandwith to make money.

I agree with them. Everybody wants to make money. But that doesn't mean we have to be like bitches who gets fucked all the time.

If you don't like their rules, don't submit. A high amount of traffic does not mean a lot of sales..

But "The Enter Here" is a very poor selling tactic. You will have a very shitty conversion. Target your sales.

In general, the tgp shouldn't give a fuck how we sell or not (I am not talking about popups and crap) I am talking about the ads..

DAMN.. We give them the pictures and the bandwith and they ask us to restrict ads? This is purely insane and sad in a way..

It's like supporting a bar.. The owner of the bar receive the clients, we give them beers and drinks for free.. We even pay the rent for the bar. And the bar owner ask us to put an add on the beer bottles only.. Can you imagine that after 5 or 6 beers, the clients just won't give a fuck anymore about the ads..

THE ADS are the reason why we are in this business.. I can't believe that thousands of whores still submit to those "Fascist" tgp's..

They want it TOO userfriendly.
only 2 ads no "enter here" "click here" etc. only ultra high quality content, only hardcore and more of that.
It's not that all tgp's are like this but some only care about their surfers getting off instead of webmasters making money.
