Lumber in general is getting ridiculous... Katrina flipped the supply & demand and the whole country is trying to ake advantage of it and jack up their prices.. and lots of is going to China and Iraq now for top dollar.. It'll get worse before it gets better..

I paid about the same in Canadian for a bush cord 4x4x8 feet. $ 520cdn for 2,but I had to pay the kids to stack it, now I'm trying to charge them for the heat

Yep. Environmental restrictions are also cutting down on the available supply. I agree with many environmental restrictions but there should be more incentives for lumber companies to replant deforested areas.
