                                      I have actually wondered the same thing....first I saw him making dancing banana heads, then he was a mod and everyone acted like they knew him for years

                                                                          He's been in the industry for quite some time and done a lot of great work... beyond that, he's done a lot of computer/engineering work before the industry.

                                                                          So yeah, don't worry about if you know him or not... he's actually quite over qualified for the job.
