Another bad epassporte thread

These threads are kind of getting old now, epassporte should really make some changes or their stock is really going to drop among webmasters.

I accept epassporte payments from webmasters and received one last month that turned out to "suspicious" and my account was temporarily suspended, for the second time (third actually cause of the $5k balance freak out rule). Now they want me to resend all my photo id's again and wait a week before unsuspending my account? Doesn't make sense cause they already have it on file and just acknowledged it over the phone.

I talked to Keyser (or whatever his name is here) and thought it was fixed but I can only receive payment and still cannot send them. He didn't respond to my last email.

If you went to a gas station to buy gas but couldn't because someone last month used fake money or a fake cc, that would be unacceptable right?

I just submitted my info to them and haven't heard yet...as far as opening a business account. How long does this usually take??

Ok so this is how it works, and i hate to stick for epassporte on this one but...

Sending money from person to person on epassporte should be treated like a "check" ( i.e. dont trust payments from/send people you dont know ) thats what a business account is for ( i assume )

The only fault with epassporte is they dont make that clear in any fashion whatsoever.. nor do they have any way to "authenticate" if someone who sent you money is valid

So if i wanna ruin your business i just fund an epassporte account with a stolen credit card and send you some money and bam your outa business until your account is unsuspended.. If your on vacation , say goodbye to your money as your business crumbles

I am not familiar with the process of opening business accounts but you can contact them at: 1.416.703.7200. Yes, give the vindictive ones ideas. :D

On a second note, should the above happen on any larger scale, I'd expect that to be the end of Epassporte, having thus become the first company I've heard of to dig its own grave, while in a monopoly position.

well i certainly hope someone wouldnt actually try thi , not only is it illegal its also completely unethical BUT there are alot of unethical , illegal things going on in this world so its always good to keep ahead of the game and prevent it..

I asked the tech support and they said if someone sends you a fraudulent payment it doesn't matter if you have a personal or business account because the system will automatically suspend your account.

You can't send money from a personal to a business account to begin with. I know it for a fact, I've tried it.
