    Trillian or Gaim, which is the best IM?

    What's the best multi-protocol instant messaging client software, Trillian or Gaim?

              Gaim all the way. Tested miranda, im2 etc - but still came to the same conclusion.

                              i use gaim because its encryption is compatible with more clients.. last time i used trillian it only encrypted with other trillian, gaim can do gaim on windows or linux and that os X client i forget its name.

                                                  Been having problems with Trillian before.. I started to use GAIM a few months ...I guess Trillian is better

                                                          I'm using Trillian for almost a year now and there's only one occassion that I had a problem. This was fixed with a released update for AIM/ICQ users.

                                                                              A multi-protocol software allow you to log in to multiple accounts on multiple IM networks simultaneously and chat with people on ICQ, MSN Messenger, Yahoo!, IRC channel, Jabber, Yahoo Messenger all at the same time.
