u know i've seen studies about how u remember stupid ads. but i haven't seen studies about how they affect sales. i know myself if i don't deal with a company and i see a dumb ad i'm more likely not to deal with them in the future.

Those Mentos commercials have been on for years. They're really bad, and people remember them because of it. And obviously they're selling some mints with those commercials, because they're still in business.
