Sorry boss Pierre, I was busy unloading all the clicks from the trucks because they arrived 30 minutes earlier than scheduled. The warehouse is a big mess. No worries I clean it all up with a fresh mop! Running to the front desk right now!

Congrats with the launch

It all looks good, I have just registered as a customer.
The backend is very sophicticated and has nice features!

I have a few questions.
I would like to start with a budget of $500 per month.
How can I devide that $500 in traffic equally per day?

Thanks,

Hello Redbird,

Regarding your question:

You can easy manage your budget with Topspots by setting a amount you want to spend per day per program. When you are running out of budget your program automatic stops and start the next day. You have full control over your budget.

If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact me at:

Thanks for answering that! I have set my daily budget to $16.50 ;)

I have around 15 galleries per program now, will the be sufficient?

Redbird

Worldsex 03-02-2006 04:26 AM

Hi Redbird,
Well, we recommend to insert 90 per program. That way you will have 3 galleries per day online.
regards
Pierre

How long would it take approx to recieve 200 dollars worth in hits?

Worldsex 03-02-2006 01:31 PM

Hi Franck,
that totally depends.
If you list 1 gallery with 1 keyword like 'uranus' it can take a while as you can understand ;-)
But if you use 90 galleries per program and set multiple keywords and use the querytool to select other relevant keywords. Now set the desired ranking (top, 2-4th spot etc) by adjusting your bidding price. Combined with that you can see what the estimated clicks will be and how fast you burn your budget. Ofcourse you can always insert more galleries or more programs to get more traffic. So saying how fast you run through your 200$ is tough to say.

hope this helped.
Pierre

Thanks for your answer.
It runs several days now and I see clicks coming in.
Using the query tool as you mentioned above helped me to add more relevant keywords, sweet tool :thumbsup

I already get over 20k clicks per day now, almost reaching my budget ;)

Pierre and Toine are great kissers..

Worldsex 03-03-2006 09:55 AM

Thanks Nylz,
You weren't bad either, although I feel we should see other people as well.

Redbird: thanks, yes, I like the query tool very much as well. I am still amazed how the programmers did that, seems that locking them up in the basement for 4 months with snacks and redbull wasn't such a bad idea after all. It wasn't easy for them, but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make.

Shap 03-03-2006 02:53 PM

GREAT STUFF :thumbsup

Nylz 03-04-2006 06:16 PM

Oh btw

Askjolene rocks!

Dirty F 03-05-2006 06:23 PM

A few things:

Positive:
1: Adding campaigns is easy as hell. After doing 2 or 3 it now takes me no more than 5 mins to get a new campaign started.
2: I'm making profit.

Negative:
1: Traffic starts real quick but also dies real quick
2: People are constantly outbidding eachother so you need to check 6 times a day if you're still in the top 1 or another decent spot to get some hits.

So maybe its still a bit too early to tell but it looks to me like if you want continuous traffic and nice volumes you have to constantly add new campaigns and watch your keywords/bids. This isnt a big problem if we were talking massive hits and potentially a lot of profit. But so far, to me, it looks like it might be too much work to make 100 bucks profit.

But like i said, maybe its too early to tell. I just added some more campaigns and will let it run a couple of days. For sure the quality is surprisingly good since i have had a not so good experience with AJ last year.

looks great, just testing :)

Franck,
Thanks for your positive critizism. Good to hear you're making profit, when we ran our own galleries in the program we pretty much found out that we were making profit on each campaign. You only have to tweak your queries and galleries. Like with any other business, experience and time help.

In respond to your 2 concerns:

1. the traffic should accumulate, not die out, as long as you have enough galleries in a campaign/program. We recommend to insert 60 galleries per campaign to maximize your traffic. Everyday 2 new ones will go live on the spot you bid for. Your previous galleries will remain visible as well, only on a lower spot.

2. It is not always necessary to have your galleries on top, the traffic on lower spots can be productive aswell. You can see in the bidding system what the traffic forecasts are. Maybe spot nr. 3 has the same amount as nr. 1?
We do have an option for bigger customers to help/ monitor or even manage their account to maximize their traffic. If we manage the account, the customer delivers the galleries and we do the rest (ofcourse in accordance with the customer), We select the queries, watch stats, etc.
Our system is set up in way that it can send a constant stream of notable, productive traffic to your galleries. If you need more information about this you can contact Toine. ([email protected])
Hope this info helps you a bit more ;-)
