ClickCash, do you know how to advertise them?

Do you believe in such a thing as "cam traffic"?

I don't, well if you are dealing with a large cam site that has lots of features to offer the surfer.

Clickcash is one that gives you a lot of options when it comes to advertising because of the several features their site offers. Examples:
1. You can advertise ifriends as a solo girl site. You pick out the solo girls you like for specific niche and you build a little mini site around her and link to her Fan club page. On your custom signup page you also make mention (as a bonus) that the person not only gets access to her Fan Club, but they will also get to see millions of nude pictures and videos from thousands of other girls.... (FYI, Fan club = same as a solo girl site that does a couple free shows a week, blogs, messageboard, pics, vids, etc....

2. YOu can advertise ifriends as a HUGE AVS site. Just by signing up (and never spending a penny on live cam) the person will have access to millions of nude pictures, thousands of hours of nude videos, HDTV content, and Free Chat with all of the models live. This works best when you market the reason they need to signup for the purposes of making sure they are old enough to see all that free shit. Once they are in they can either spend money or not... ifriends does a good job upselling, so all of these advertising methods work good for them too.

3. You can advertise it as a cam dating site. Meet girls in your area, have a "date" with them on cam. Ifriends allows viewers to do the 2-way cam and not all of the girls hide where they are from. Not that they would ever want to meet any of these guys, but you never know. It is an effective marketing method.

4. Market it as hi-tech porn. The HDTV features and multiple cams, and cams that move, etc... all of this caters to a niche.

5. Can always market the fact that it is the largest adult webcam community on the internet, your more traditional cam approach.

I would like to point out that you can do most of these things with pretty much every webcam site. However, most sites (and especially ours) have flexible promotional tools to allow you to do this without a lot of effort, but with iFriends, you must make all of your own ads.

However, iFriends is still a good site

thanks for pointing out what webcams.com can do and can't do in my Clickcash thread.

Since you brought it up, i must have missed the girls fanclubs on your site. So I can advertise the girl individually where they can sign up to see her and all of her nude pictures and videos, her blog, set up for a wake up call from here, have her phone number, watch her free nude live shows, her private contact number, etc...

You have cams that surfer can move, multi cams, HDTV cams, 2 way cams?

your 50K pictures or 500K or whatever you have is about 10% of what the content they get from ifriends. You don't cover a fraction of the niches that clickcash does.

So what does your site do? offers girls live for ppm and a membership option to see some shit free? did i miss anything?

Many ifriends performers have multiple hosts using their profile, which means sending traffic based on a "face" sometimes doesn't turn out so well.

While the amount of features each fan club offers is impressive, many hosts don't bother to utilize them - some photo galleries, for example, are abyssmal and they don't complete their profile (dairy, likes/dislikes, etc.)

Getting promo material directly from ifriends is a bit of a task - esp. if you are *not* using firefox. Go into a fanclub and try copying/downloading/hotlinking images, videos, etc. and it is a bit of work.

Though, before you jump all over me for being lazy I still do it. I do find ifriends has lots of performers in just about every category, and there is enough promo material on the better profiles. Lastly, the lifespan of hosts on sites using many home-based performers seems to be higher than mostly studio-based, for obvious reasons.

I just don't like linking to a profile where 3,4,5 people (who often are completely different physically, attitude, show-wise, etc.) log in - it kind of defeats the purpose of using the talent to sell the site. I honestly would love if they would clean that up somehow!

Given some of the girls are hookers using iFriends to meet guys in their cities, it can be very effective. Of course if you use that technique the girls that aren't hookers can get pretty damn irrate. So tread carefully with this one.

Everyone and their brother promotes ifriends, the web is over saturated with ifriends fronts. Very inconsistent too...you make $5k one month, then 500 bucks the next all on the same traffic. Sometimes I really think they shave. Webcam revshare programs is where the is $$$ is at. Get a few high rollers, and you're set.

I don't see that problem, most of the chathost who have different personalities/niches make a new account for each niche. I am sure it can happen as you say but i have never noticed this before.

my site (teamclickcash) and working with me pretty much makes dealing with everything you listed above easy to do.

I work with a good bit of the chathost who provide me with custom content, etc... I have a lot of content already download and displayed on my site and I have employees who will find and get any content you need for your site. You don't even need to signup to ifriends and spend time looking for stuff.

webcams are the best things to sell.. it's 2006 who wants to just look at pictures and videos. live is the way to go.

It helps to also have a lot of pictures and videos on the site, but LIVE is what the majority of the people want.

Because the guys coming into her chat expecting to be able to hook up RL for a "date" can get very rude. And then the girls find out where he saw the ad for her, she tracks down you site and says take down my images, threatens to have iFriends can your account etc. etc. etc. My point is that if you make innuendos about "dating" the girl, it can work out bad for you.

Hell, I make it clear in my ads that only the chats are free but these idiots go in there expecting free cam shows and some of the girls have got back to me all pissed off.

Can't argue at all with that ... that's why I first started "poking" around the live cam idea back in 2001, just took me awhile to sink into it full-time.

yes and no.... back when 5+ sec refresh was the best technology out there it did kinda suck a little and I could see how people then preferred recorded video.

Now you have streaming cams, multi angle cams, hdtv quality cams, 2 way cams, everyone with a webcam should have a fast connection now. so things have advanced over time. The out the box logitech back in the day was very shitty on dialup and 20 sec refresh.... not worth 1.99 a min IMO

I have a 128x250 banner up to MyNudeWebcam.com (sponsor: AdultPlayersClub) on www.secksee.com, but it doesn't do much. Granted I don't get much in the way of people looking for webcams, just T&A. ;)

first of all i think all cam sites that offer geo-targeting do this.

If a guy shows up in a girls room and says "so you from Tampa" see will either be like, yes ... whatever, or say no. Some girls will be where ever you want them to be from other may say no i am not and she can work him and sell him anyway or he can leave. Most lie about where they are from anyway, so what is the difference if we lie for them? Some girls might complain but the ones that know what they are do will know how to handle the guy and still convert him into spending money no matter where he is from. They will be happy to get the traffic.

I don't advertise them as a straight up personals site, more of a webcam dating site, which in all reality if the date is "online" it doesn't matter where you live. But when people see their city it catches their attention is helps getting them in the door, which is the hardest part of the sale.

You're too far back, I was paying for cam shows to get uhrmm content in 2001 and they were full speed.

Will, have you ever considered sending a little traffic to a revshare based program? (No, before you scoff, I'm not representing one or pushing a refid onto you. ) It takes a while to build up a good base of paying clients, but in the long run you could be making 3 or 5 times the income that you do from ifriends.

From the modest amount of traffic I send to one particular sponsor I currently make an average of $39 per year. Doesn't sound like much, but remember that's for EVERY year since their signup, and the average GROWS with time (a bout 18 months ago it was more like $15/member). Remember this isn't an average PPS signup value... it's the average lifetime value of a member. So the average earnings of existing members also climb. With your traffic I think you could be making a much higher average in a shorter period of time.

Why not give it a go? Even if you only send 5% or 10% of your traf to another sponsor you can see how well it works.

Yeah I have, and SEVERAL times it cost me money when the company went out of business and kept my money. web800, ibill, glowbill, and several other companies that were using them. I have lost a LOT of money from revshare.

I would rather the money upfront instead of waiting 18 - 24 months to make the same amount. A lot can happen during that time, the company goes under, they cancel your account, not to mention you could be making money with your money during that time.

With PPS if the company goes under you lose one weeks pay, switch to someone else and you keep going. If you are working with revshare it will take you YEARS to recover.

I also prefer the pps companies that are free/$1 to join opposed to the ones where they pay you only when someone signs up and spends money.
I would rather $40 a free signup over $100 a $25 signup. Free/$1 signups will convert 3 -4x better then $25+ signups, from the same traffic.

When you compare a free signup/$1 join to revshare it blows it away. Revhsare is exactly that you only make a Portion of what the person SPENDS. It is not easy to make people spend lots of money. You were saying you average like $39 a year from revshare. Take into consideration that you will get 4x the people signing up for free/$1 join from the same traffic. So with a $40 per free join you would make $160 from the same traffic that is making you $39 a year. I don't want to wait 18months for my money muchless 4 years. Long term income is very nice, but not in this industry.
Important points:
- YOU ONLY get paid when they spend money. Keep this in mind, it is key.

They started off with JVC, then went on to Sony FX1.

You say you have no time for new team clickcash members or those that have just started out, you are only interested in people that can join up and produce sales right away, yet you come to the boards and write stuff like this, by writing stuff like this you make people want to signup and promote clickcash, but as ive read and understood it you are not that keen about helping new guys in this niche getting started. If im wrong id love it, cause im starting out with the webcam nice and I have a clickcash account signedup under you and no one would be more happy than me to get some good advice. After all I am reffered by you from here, the very same place you are trying to get people interested in clickcash from.

I have no problem if you want to signup and use the tools i provide here and on my website. I was just trying to be upfront and honest with people who were new and looking for a lot of "one on one" help, that I wouldn't be able to icq/email then everyday. Most of the questions I get asked are also answered on my site and I have a lot of guides there covering the basics. I don't want to eliminate new people all together, but I also don't want them getting mad and say that they signed up and i didn't help them either. We were all new at some point, so I know how it feels.
I was getting a couple emails a day, nice emails from people who explained their situation and were looking for help, etc and I would love to help them, and I was, but it was taking up all of my time and wasn't fair to the existing members I have that were doing well. I decided to focus my help on my key guys, and making new promos for everyone, and adding a few new people along the way if i had time. It would take me a long time to teach one person the ins and out of everything, but it takes me a lot less time to to go over their exsting website and fix it up so they can convert 20 - 30% using clickcash. That's the main thing I am focusing on doing now, and if the person doesn't have any traffic then me helping them fix up their site really is no benefit to them. Developing traffic is key and must come first for every webmaster.

BTW, all existing TCC members have access to all of the tools and promos i make. I don;t have them all updated on the site yet. If you want to use anything you see email me and i will set it up for you.

Just curious if you read my orginal post in this thread.

you said... " i don't get much in the way of people looking for webcams, just T&A"

This whole thread was about how you can take anytype of traffic and get signups to webcam sites like ifriends if you market it correctly. Ifriends probably has more "T&A" pics and vids then the other video/picture sites you advertise. But if you refer to ifriends as webcams you will miss out of all of that traffic. Try advertising it as #2 on my list above.

you really are sad. Are you this sad in real life or is it just your internet personality.

I encourage everyone to do a search on me if they like and they can read for themselves, and if they really care they can always ask me how I feel about anything.
