Severed penis in a Convenience Store turns out to be a Prosthetic
In one of the most bizarre stories ever to air in the Pittsburgh area, Thursday Evening February 23, 2006, Channel 2 KDKA initially broadcasted a report of a severed penis being microwaved in a town near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Thursday night, February 23, 2006, at a convenience store. A man reportedly entered ?Giant Eagle Get-Go? convenience store on 5th Avenue in McKeesport, and asked to use the store's microwave oven. The female store clerk obliged. When a strange smell aroused suspicion from the store clerk, she went to see what the man was cooking in the store?s microwave oven. It turned look what appeared to be a human penis. The clerk called police and the man ran out immediately.

The police began an investigation, and county homicide detectives were notified in case a crime was committed somewhere in the area. Calls to local hospitals have yielded no reports of anyone coming in with a missing penis. The local media converged on the convenience store and customers were interviewed about the gruesome discovery by the news network.

Upon hearing the story on the local media, a couple called the police department and confessed that they had taken a prosthetic penis filled with urine to the store in order to heat the urine to body temperature in order to pass a drug test administered at a place of employment. Police then determined that the severed penis was really a prosthetic device known as a ?wizz-a-nator? used to store warm urine in order to defeat a urine drug test.

?Hands down the most bizarre. I?ve never come across anything like this before,? said Chief Joe Pero.

The police also stated the two people involved with this episode could face charges of harassment, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct among other charges.

Giant Eagle, the parent corporation that owns Get-Go conveinance store, will remove the microwave oven from that store and discard it.
