    When did you get your start in Adult?!

    inspired by a thread of BradShaws,

    I was curious, when did you get your start in adult? Doing what?

    I started in June/July of 1999 - working for Sexhound in their marketing department.

    Incorporated the current company Feb 8th of 2001. Launched DormAngels march 3rd of 2001. (about to celebrate it's 5th birthday)

          1998, in highschool for about a year (webmaster - no result) then back into it in 2002 (at company similar to ifriends), quit that in 2004 and wming till present.

                                                      January 1996 after my first trip to Vegas for the CES, I then discovered the biz at a small adult show at the Sahara... Almost no internet by then but a lot of CD rom that I started to sell thru classiffeds in newspaper, then came the internet, so I started designing website. Got one of my big breaks in 2000 when I did Penthouse's Carl Wachter website....

                                                                                          I made my first adult site in 1996 on my ISP's space, and with stolen images. Got listed on persiankitty. Then someone emailed me and told me it was a bad idea to steal pics, and my ISP threatened me with $10k bill per month on bandwidth, so I took the shit offline.

                                                                                          I then, in 1997 or so registered my first domain, and bought some content from web-legal. I played with it until 1999 when I had to take mandatory military service, in 2000 I moved to my own apartment and started to work more in adult. At this point my job was to drive a cab, I got caught speeding and lost my license for 3 month.. a perfect opportunity to start working full-time. That was summer of 2000. Income wasn't good, as I was a retard.

                                                                                          In 2001 I found out that there was a community of people I can learn from. Before this I hadn't red any tutorials, and hadn't networked with anyone. I just did things my way..and without much success.
                                                                                          I joined boards and have since multiplied my monthly income (and expenses :P) many times over.

                                                                                                                                                          so he tought me how to build CJ sites and in 2002-2003 I had some more time and I started to make some 100k CJ sites and made what was left in the dialer biz up until beginning 2005.

                                                                                                                                                          the CJ biz is almost dead so had to convert and I am still converting and playing more and more with CPC and SEO work.
