Webmaster/ Graphic Designer / Template Developer /
Homegrownvideo.com currently has an opening for a talented Graphic Artist / Webmaster to join our team. Applicant must be comfortable working with adult content. This is primarily an in-house position in the Irvine area, near Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvine CA. Applicants not within commuting distance will not be considered.
Applicants should also be a motivated team player with a strong track record of exceeding objectives. They should also enjoy problem solving and have the ability to take initiative. You should have experience in designing and creating web sites, web graphics and web site content. The applicant will be expected to maintain existing websites in addition to building new sites. A working knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, Smarty, Flash, Photoshop, and Illustrator are required.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated a solid design eye with strong attention to detail and creative instincts. A wide degree of creativity is expected. Applicants should also be a dynamic, motivated, team player with a strong track record of exceeding objectives. Enjoy problem solving and take initiative. You should be well organized and responsible with solid organizational and time management skills.
Major Responsibilities
? Create and maintain web pages and Smarty templates
? Create and design layouts for dynamic templates and data
? Create web graphics JPG, PNG, GIF, SWF, PSD, AI
? Create marketing material, animations and banner ads
? Create gallery pages used for marketing
? Create tours for pay and free sites
? Create standard original file backups for all artwork and organize properly
Expert Knowledge of
? HTML / XHTML
? CSS
? Smarty
? Flash
? Photoshop / Illustrator
? Dreamweaver or alternate editor
Knowledge of
? XML / XSLT
? AJAX / XAJAX
? PHP
? JavaScript
? SQL / MySQL
? PHP MyAdmin
Working familiarity with PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript, relational databases, common Macromedia and Adobe programs is a bonus.
