Glamour .... I think you almost try to hard for an amateur look. If you want amateur, just let the girls do their own basic makeup and hair and go from there.

Just my opinion. Plus Matrix is known for their awesome glamour content.

Funny thing is..... thats what she looked like when she came in for the shoot. We didn't put any make up on her nor dress her up, we never do for our amatuer sets. It probably looks a little forced since we ARE known for our glam content......

I only like the ultra glam look, because I love makeup and I think EVERYONE looks better with makeup and glammed up, I don't like the natural no makeup look at all, even if someone already looks good natural they always look better with makeup and photoshopped. I'm a girl though, so I love to get dolled up.

I'm not a model, but a webmaster, and I still would not let anyone take a pic of me with no makeup. The only person that looks good with no makeup is Angelina Jolie.

I would never even go outside without makeup let alone have my pic taken that way (even for family photos) , but that's just me.

I have to give the models props for being brave and having their pics taken without makeup on.That takes A LOT of courage.

And the model in the pic looks A LOT better with makeup on, sorry.

Honestly .. I've been thinking about this for awhile. I just signed a deal with a girl you spoke to I believe (Nikita) and I took her site because it's a good mix of Glam shots that she has had done from some great Photographers and a bunch of stuff that she shot at home and just around. I think it will do well because my theory is that guys love the Glammed out Vixen but would love to see what they look like in the morning or after the gym.

My advice would be to use both .. give the surfer a look into her regular life ... The redesign for Nikitalea is almost done ...I'll let ya know how the concept works out ...

Both.

Both are very detail oriented things and both require an eye. Amateur more so than "Glam". Taking awesome glam pictures I have found to be very very easy but in doing so I do not like the content as much. I do not know why.

Practical Education in Photography and those that know it are not able to digress to shoot Amateur, the method of thinking is altered by the education and knowledge of photography.

Amateur on the other remains the most common style of photography on the simple basis that more Amateur photographers are around than skilled ones and therefore produce far more content by sheer volume. Its the "Photographer" in the rough that pulls an offbeat style to his shooting that can not be immitated. Amateur photography is composed of nuance things and it goes beyond just shooting without a flash.
