How can I get Google to spider my Blog more? It's not been updated for over a year!

Ok, How the hell can I get Google to spider my site more often. It's a blogspot subdomain that has been listed in Google for over a year however if you search Google for domain.com the post shown is from the 19th Feb 2005!!
Stupid thing is MSN ranks the page no.1 and updates every 2-3 days and Yahoo! ranks it at page 2 and updates weekly.
The site has had loads of posts but Google will not update. How can I get Google to update?

Without a link it will be tough to tell what you're doing wrong.

also, you should include the following meta tag in your header...

<meta name="googlebot" content="googlebot, please index my page. i love you!">

Without seeing the page, the only thing I can recommend is to get more high quality incoming links.

Your search - link:http://nude-in-public.blogspot.com/ - did not match any documents.

Your dreaming about listings or getting it cached, get some links to it, google wont assume your site is important unless you show them it is.

Ok, I understand that I require more links. Surely though if Google has been before it should return at least once in a full year and update it's cache..

You could try using a metatag telling when google needs to return, update the blog more often; new backlinks to your blog might help.

backlinks, backlinks, backlinks.

Meta is meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

Also, if you at one time removed the blog from bloggers directory it adds a noindex nofollow to your meta tags, thats one meta the spider takes to heart.

LOL, when I read the subject line my first thought was, "Well, if the blog hasn't been updated for over a year..."

I have several that haven't and they bring in more money every month than the month before.

I am still interested in knowing if this is a new design, and if so, when was it added.
