Haha don't you love it, almost a million uniques daily and they don't want a piece of it, well ok. NEXT!

BTW... We have a ton more content in our new webmaster area if you think some galleries on our page would drive more traffic. We don't get a ton of traffic from you right now but what we do get converts nicely so if you think there is a way we could improve then I am all ears.

I'd have to think it was probably what Trixxia said and that email was just an error, although it could be some weird thing where they have some totally other reason than what they said.

I know I'm looking forward to SpookyCash's first T-shirt set on there! :)

Your site is listed in the review section, the ones we list on the main page and the babelinksections are getting way more trafic ;))

Let me see tommorow if we can do something with your content.

@Who, I agree Alexa isn't a way to measure traffic but it does give you another pointer about a site ;))

You certainly got a templated response, but I don't find their refusal of your application especially outrageous.

I'm not implying anything negative about your site or traffic, just that there are several sites which are selective as to their affiliates and don't have traffic volume as the only, or even the main parameter. Some are well-known and have been around a long time, so it's safe to assume that strategy works for them.

I have no comparison in this business, but when I published books I refused to sell to book clubs. I could have filled some very big orders, but I preferred to protect my customers who owned stores. It may even have cost me money in the short term, but I wanted a stable business based on hundreds of smaller accounts, rather than be dependent on the goodwill and fortunes of a handful.

I have seen it the other way around too. Before IBM would do business with a company I once owned, I had to prove they would not account for more than 10% of my sales. Apparently this was because they wanted to be able to keep doing business with me or not, without having to be concerned (something their ethics would have required) that if they chose to terminate our relationship, my business could be too seriously damaged.

Like I mentioned above its not that they MUST take us as an affiliate, I just thought it was funny as we never had this before with any private program due to the fact that this business is mostly focused on sales. And Freeones happens to be one who can send a lot.

I do hear what you try to say though and I do respect their choice even though it was a templated response ;))

Thats High comedy at its finest. BTW I'll take the spare traffic if you are hurting for a place to send it.
