![]() Yesterday it appears that the vocal majority around here finally took a cohesive stand against something very well could be damaging to the industry as a whole. This gave me a glimmer of hope that we as an industry could and are able to unite and take a proactive stance against issues we do not agree with. I hope that we can learn from what happened and finally realize that we all could work together to better serve our industry.
For too long we have been silent and let everyone else speak for us and fight the battles they choose to fight in the way they wanted them fought. There are additional numerous issues that is we all took the same stand on that we could as an industry be heard and possibly effect change for the betterment of us all. I personally feel that it really only takes a small spark to light a large fire and I do believe that we could of had that spark yesterday. The question will be can we nurture this spark and ignite something huge or will we allow everything to go back to how it was, where everyone is just in it for their own special interests. Are we able to put our energy together and collectively do something significant by each of us doing a small part. I would really like to think so and I know we could if we each had the desire. I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions on this. Oh and by the way this is my 16,000th post on here.

Congrats on your 16k (and eloquently stated) post
![]() Yesterday was one of those bittersweet ones for the most part. After the shock of seeing the new skin...but then hours later witnessing it get yank'd, it was quite a rollercoaster ride for a while. But you're right. It was great to see many here band together in a collective voice and actually achieve something constructive. Likewise, I hope this is the start of something much bigger and even better. edit - in the brew-ha yesterday, I zipped past my 3k post, lol. |

congratz on hitting 16k.
TGP owners: don't trade traffic with sites that promote sites such as guba. Sponsors: don't allow your affiliates to promote your sites on the same sites they use to promote guba-style sites. Affiliates: don't promote guba(-style sites). simple... |

congrats on 16k and when I saw the new skin and promoter, GFY lost a few refreashes and thread counts.
Glad the campaign was pulled and who knows they might get their act together for the next skin on GFY in March. ![]() |
