    WTF!! wordpress 404 returns 200 status in header

    -- I'm trying to add sites in google sitemaps & shit's fucking not working..

    So, any idea why a wordpress blog 404 would show 200 status in the header

                  sorry, I should have been more clear....make your 404 page a php and put that in the top of the page

                  if it is HTML, i have no clue because I work in all php pages
