Adult Shock Media...

How in the hell do you know all this shit?

No matter the topic, you know something about it. Now yeh a lot of people will chime in on every issue to make it seem as if they know what they're talking about, but you actually do know what you're talking about on almost any subject or conversation piece that comes up.

I thought I knew a lot of weird random information, then I see you posting about the sodas Pepsi owns one day and about who knows what the next day. Have you discovered a way to read through osmosis!? I would love that, share!

Guessing you mean me, understandable typo but alas you like NEVER make them. And I get 2 in one thread. My name and yeh.

Honestly I am a vast wealth of useless info. Take me out of GFY and the majority of what I know will have no real barring in the real world. Ok not really I do know more than assorted useless facts.
I just seem to absorb them and I read a whole lot and I think that is what allows stuff to set in. I also have this issue of reading everything. I am serious if something is left in front of me or around me that has words on it I usually will always read it. Even stuff as trivial as a soda can or a cereal box. Then sometimes it gets me curious so I feel the need to look up even more information.

Example being I noticed "Ball" on many soft drink cans. Indeed they were the same company that makes most jars, especially the old canning ones. Little did I know at the time that they have apparently took over the jar/can industry until I researched them some. Although oddly enough they have left the home canning market and no longer make jars for home canning, sort of where they got their real roots from. Then to discover they are actually in the aerospace industry (defense, civil, commercial) and have contracts with NASA, the department of defense, and NOAA. Well who knew?

Guess it all boils down to I am profoundly curious about stuff, even the mundane.
