Looking for mainstream investors

I have a client that is looking for 2 investors willing to put up $15,000 each in a mainstream venture.

The return is $1,000 a month for 24 months. First payment would be 30 days after monies received.

If one person wants to invest $30,000 the return would be $2,000/mo for 24 months.

Anyone interested can respond here or contact me at [email protected]

Think the key word in that offer is "invest". Technically if it folds or whatever you are sort of SOL.

Actually, no. The investment would be a guaranteed with another resource. So, while I did say they were looking for investors, in reality it would be a secured loan.

Some things are acceptable collateral by a bank, others are not.

This is probably a down payment, the bank is already giving a loan, hehe.

It isn't an investment though, its a guaranteed loan and the guarantee is good. Assuming this is what I think it is, if it isn't, ignore everything I've said.

I appreciate the pledged asset may be *unconventional*

I am all for recognizing value in unconventional places.

But, the trouble is, what would BIND the asset to the loan...LEGALLY?

the right paperwork, and having the asset or the right to the asset held in escrow until completion of the loan.

Do you have any idea how many ventures, domains, sites that are presented to me every month?

I only wish I could afford to invest in all of them.

That's 49.925% interest on the loan.

Two points I'd like to make.

1) I think he'd get a better deal from Tony Soprano

2) I wonder if the contract would be legally enforceable since the interest rate is way way way above the legal limit in most (all?) states.

They only need $30K with a 24 month payback? $30k wouldn't even cover the person who is running the venture a salary to make sure the investment was protected.

BAD investment

Things don't quite add up here, no one is going to pay 50% rate for a secured loan.

That's a static interest rate? Bullshit.. - if he is so static (24 months) with interest he could have gotten a loan anyway. And if he's really sure about it (and knowing what he's doing) he would've had successes with other things first - 30,000 is absolutely peanuts in mainstream.

last question... why wouldn't the principals just take out personal loans if the return is so secure?

if I had a 100% guarantee that I would make a return like that in my own ventures then I'd have no problem using personal assets as collateral

be honest now... are these players broke?

thats all i can find regarding your "answers"

Not attacking, just judging, part of what I am paid to do.

I know who the serious questions are coming from because they are emailing me.
