I saw that the other night too. It is an odd looking sport, but I like how the entire game is based on newtonian physics (i.e. friction, force, momentum, and speed).

It's the only one us Scots are good at (apparently) so shhh...

I notice there are a lot "sports" in both Olympics that I have never even heard of and do wonder why there in the Olympics. I hear ballrom dancing is trying to get in but they keep turning them down.

We suck at baseball because most of us really don't give a fuck about it. The same applies to american football and to a *slightly* lesser extent, ice hockey and basketball.

On the flipside, you don't give a fuck about, say, cricket or rugby. That's why you suck at those.

Few sports are truly global.

I rather watch grass grow.

Curling is interesting if you know the rules.
The Italian team is the hottest from what I've seen so far.

I think the reason is that so few countries can play the game and they don't even participates with their best players.
Same reason cricket and rugby isn't in the Olympics.
Golf is trying to get on the program but there really isn't an interest from the best players so it probably won't make it.
