while the pictures look bad....were these men not somehow connected to the terrorist events that have taken place inside the usa?

while you cant condone their actions it is hard to imagine what we would do in their place.

So yeh what the CIA and military did is bad too, and heads need to roll, but compared to what used to go on in Iraq, its night and day.

Do you feel better knowing your army is represented by a group of criminals that happen to be less brutal than Saddam's one? Please explain me the purpose of this comparison because it appears as a pathetic attempt to decrease the importance of these acts. If so it's more straight and honest to come up with a different post. I repeat what's the purpose of this comparison please?

Can't believe there are some people here saying it is okay because the people we call bad guys do it too and even worse. Moral compasses are fucked up all over the world, no doubt but it is sad to see we aren't exempt.

Seymour Hersh says the US government has videotapes of boys being sodomized at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.

Electrocution is in-humane? Possibly. The other alternative is to take them out in the same manner that they killed their victim. I'm sure that was done with care, and was probably done in a human manner.

Or should we let them live off of our tax money until they grow old and die? Remember, to be put on death row, they had to do more than jaywalking. If you were the family of the victim you would have a different opinion, but until you walk in those shoes you don't know how you would feel.

Just saying its still fucked up, and no type of torture should be tolerated from US soldiers, but the torture in the pics can't be compared to what these folks had to deal with constantly living under Saddam's regime.

Lets look at photos of what was done to american soldiers in WW1 WW2 Vietnam, Korea, and now there.

Do you think that the soldiers from Iran have the US soldiers in pajamas watching the disney chanel and eating burgers??

Yeh I know. Where do you think Saddam got his WMD's from originally. Those all came from the CIA when we were in bed with Iraq fighting Iran.

The pics maybe bad, but it's the same shit that we already knew about. Just a few more pictures added in that we didn't see before. With the current issues that are going on in Europe with the muslims, it's was a very stupid thing to put this shit back in the news.

I don't excuse it, but how many other countries can say their military has never tourtured people or mistreated prisoners? These soldiers are in war, people think diffrently when their lives is on the line day in and out.
