Not being able to walk sucks, so happy I finally can move again :)

Injured my ankle very bad 2 weeks ago during soccer. Went from hostpital to docter to physiotherapist and back.

Got some plaster bandage etc and they said, it would take around 8 weeks, before I could walk again.

Today(after almost 2 weeks) I came to the physiotherapist and it is going amazingly well. I probably can walk again next week!(this week already no more bandage, only a big strong 'sock')

I am so happy

Thought I share it with you because you wanna know

seems you are recovering fast, keep it up

i was very athletic during my college years, even part of basketball
varsity team not until i tore my anterior cruciate ligament (or ACL),
took a year to heal and the possibility of not able to join the team
again was a hard and personal decision i had to bear for the rest of
my life. that was the end for my bright future as an professional player.

When I was a kid I didn't like playing any sport but basketball, but every now and then the other kids'd ask me to fill in, and put me at defence, and since I wasn't very good at it, I simply kicked the hell out of everybody that tried to go past me. That lasted for a while untill half the boys in the neighbourhood started limping, and one day some guy from the ohter team came to me and said "Dude, chill out, it's only a game, no need to criple us all"

similar to what happened to my dad after suffering a stroke. I had to take care of him for a few weeks, I mean walk him outside the house to exercise his legs.
