They send me an e-mail to tell me I have an e-mail in my ePassporte internal e-mail account. And the e-mail tells me that their office will be closed on such and such date.

Donnie I don't know about the mail but it can be because emails from ePassporte is always sent to your ePassporte email so you know it is coming from ePassporte.

We will only send email to your internal email account for
security reasons. We send out an email to your external account telling you to
log in to retrieve the message. There have been a lot of phishing attempts on
ePassporte and we do this to protect our customers.Truth TellerComment
