Yeah, it does. I might even buy some traffic from them again in a while.

Hopefully they have filtered all of the Chinese hitbots that they used to send to my sites.

Is anyone actually making any money from sex.com traffic? It was a waste of my time and money a 1+ year ago

Don't see much there in terms of value.

Your track record is verifiable, I'm thinking it would be in their best interest to work something out with you.

They're more than welcome to contact me and work something out, I know first hand about their PI license with Yahoo and how they can't take multiple clients so I'm not sure what can be done. I'd be more than willing to buy their traffic though, I've seen their listings.

Interesting. Have they been around for long? I assume they are just a mediator between large PPC companies and advertizers with huge budgets, do I get that right?

I'm sure with your advertising volumes, you could qualify for their program, too. And I've seen their Y! listings before, too.

They've been around for quite some time, they operate mostly in covert. Your case is correct, that they do act as mediators but I'm not a paysite owner either. I'm a large media buyer but they're only interested in dealing directly with paysite owners and affiliate companies. I don't blame them, they know the sponsors can pay a larger cut directly to them and they're avoiding the middle man (being me). This mostly has to do with their licensing with Yahoo, not specifically with not liking me

Did you ever consider it could be what you were selling, the price you were selling it for and maybe how you were presenting it?

Cracks me up the way folks always blame the advertising medium, never themselves, and always say the traffic sucked, and won't accept responsibility.

Sex.com's traffic was considered very poor by MANY (just search old GFY threads for example). I used them for over a year and compared to other PPC programs (similer kws and landing pages) they were easily the poorest-converting.

(I stuck with them over a year as I got very cheap feeder traffic and some worthwhile country-specific traffic, but for actual sales ... terrible)

KRL I wouldn't defend that traffic if I were you. It was really really friggin bad for PPC traffic. Much worse than google ad words. Considering the Sex.com traffic should have been even better qualified there was no excuse.

Let me add, with new owners I expect new things. But I think the last owner was asleep at the wheel.

Obviously.
