I saw the movie Munich

Didn't think it was much good the plot was confusing I thought Doom was a lot better Munich dragged on like elderly donkey

I mean come on they could have cut out about an hour of them wanking on about the motherland from it and just stuck to the rought plot and action it would have been a lot better i reckon

I liked Munich to be honest, quite a bit. I really like the story/plot driven movies, and I thought it was put together quite well. I hate far-fetched hollywood "action" type movies (and although I haven't seen it) that is what I would expect from doom. I guess it depenbds the type of movie that you like, but if you enjoy story based/plot driven/based on real events movies this is a great one. It's long though, so if you prefer lots of action you might not like it so much.

Wait a second.. You thought DOOM was better than Munich? My god GFY houses a plethora of geniuses. That's one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. Doom was a stupid based on a game movie that sucked bigtime. Munich was the true story of the events after the 72 Olympics in Germany. How is that movie confusing? It was one of the worst events of the century and it's not the movie's fault you don't read and/or have no historical knowledge whatsoever.. Munich was an unbelievable movie and if you aren't interested in history, look at who directed the movie.. STEVEN SPIELBERG. If that doesn't get your attention then you are a lost cause... I suppose you think Deuce Biggalow was good too.

I already knew the history of munich and I liked the film I just enjoyed Doom a lot better! I mean the cinema is for entertainment right I can make my own mind up about politics from news and reading whatever I don't need to listen to hours of boring dialogue and all the about the Jewish homeland!

Maybe you guys would have appreciated Doom a bit more if they had stopped to talk reminisce over the cause they were fighting for and the crimes done to their people etc maybe they can get STEVEN SPIELBERG to bore the shit out of us in between stuff blowing up

In a nutshell, what he said.
Comparing Doom to Munich is like comparing Mad magazine to Charles Dickens, KoolAid to bordeaux or GFY to Mensa ;)

whatever!!! I enjoyed doom a lot more!

another thing I will say is Munich was all about glorifying state sponsorred terrorism which I don't think is a good think to encourage in the current climate of ever present danger from the enemy

"After delivering two disappointing flicks(Terminal/War of the worlds),Spielberg is finally back in his usual form.He is best at dramatic and intensly realistic films. And Munich is just the film that shows why he is the best in the industry.

It begins off a bit slow, but that won't hold back the film ,cuz what is about to come next is shocking, terrifying and absolutely thrilling.Everything in the film is well executed apart from some flaws which are easily pointed out.

It's the story of how a group of men struggle to seek their revenge against a group of terrorist who killed 11 atheletes in the early 70's during the period of Olympic games in Germany. But as they begin this perilous mission of vengence, they no longer become different from their enemies and they themselves are transformed into terrorists. As all of them lose their soul and the thing that makes them humane. They were family men and now are serial killers;as every one of them try to get out of this dark and tragic world that they have entered. They had to accept their fates.

Spielberg has handled this film with care and hardwork. The subject matter is a bit arousing which leads to the controversial debates that are going on around the world. But that is not what this hauntingly thrilling and powerful film is about. It is an emotionally dark film about a group of men trapped in a game that they can't win.

The cast is perfect. The trademark camerawork is once again fantastic. The script is superb. The score is haunting, and no doubt this is his(Spielberg) best effort yet.Erica Bana is a rising star and he delivers,Daniel Craig,Mathew all have memorable moments.

This is at once an unforgettable tale of vengence and redemption and a flawed masterpiece. Not a masterpiece but truly powerful work from a man who is widely respected." - http://movies.yahoo.com/mvc/dfrv?mid...0qKer70Lv2YQ--

slow and drawn out but interesting - well done for what it was - speilberg is best at these kinds of movies becasue he can demand the budget to do them right - he makes the popcorn movies to pay for the passion projects. - I think it is a timely look at terrorism and everything associated with it - the victims - the motivations, the struggle between the various fighters - made me think which wrapped me into the movie - he invested a lot in eric bana and he delivered an excellent performance

I saw it last night. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would but I don't think it is best picture level of good. It was fun guessing where things were shot in London and other European cities I have been to.
