I got a new house here in Dallas a little over 2 years ago and now I get tons of credit card junk mail. Anyone know how to get them to stop sending this crap?

btw I didn't know you were in Texas. I'm looking at real estate out there because it's so damn cheap. I'm planning to buy a few condos over the next two years. I was looking at Houston and San Antonio, but I'm trying to pick a place that the weather is close to Florida's. With that in mind I was leaning towards San Antonio. You happen to have any other suggestions?

Have a look at the info at this page from the Federal Trade Commission:
ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/alerts/optoutalrt.htm (Sorry the link isn't clickable. The Forum software apparently enforces 'no links' policy for posters with less then 30 posts It gives a phone number to use to automatically opt-out of credit card mailings. Also, opt-out with the Direct Marketing Associations 'Mail Preference' list shown further down on the same page. Best, Hamp ps. Yes, I am just a lowly surfer... |
