simple answer: IE sucks!
complicated answer: IE sucks ass! very complicated answer: IE doesn't interpret CSS properly. I guess that's the reason.

Maybe the image that goes outside the blog area is messing things up? The one part of the way down the page that's too big.

IE is probably not interpreting this part of the code correctly:
#page { BACKGROUND: url(http://www.facialblog.com/wp-content.../kubrickbg.jpg) repeat-y 50% ^^^ ive had the same problem before with repeat-y style.
