Of course you can make money on banners. Your site has alot of text so you could also use text links which lead to sponsors. I use text links, and they convert better then banners.

I can only recommend this...but make sure the banners you use are
very subtle....it could considerably influence your bookmarking rates...

Your site is a review site .. so no i wouldn't use banners.. it would lower your credibility as an honest reviewer.
only banners you should use is something like dating sites..AdultFriendFinder or DatingGold
