Why do sponsors push people to use their banners so much?
Banner CTR is complete shit, so why are sponsors (and affiliates) so adament on usng them everywhere?

Legal reason I would suppose. I doubt site owners want someone making a banner that incorrectly sold something on the site that wasnt there.
