If you worked 10% more, would your income increase by 10%?

Conversely, if you reduced your hours by 10%, would your income also drop by 10%?

Its not a direct relationship like that for me as my work is rather long term. I couldn't view it on a daily basis, it would need to be monthly or quarterly.

If I worked 10% more im pretty sure my income would grow more than 10%
If I worked 10% less my income would probably fall less than 10%

If I worked 10% more, I'd borderline on burning out. I'd rather be productive with the time I have than spending a couple extra hours after I'm at the breaking point. Extra time would be counterproductive in my case.

I'm probably working less than 10-15 hours a week but I am still making well over the average income for my country.

With the birth of my daughter I'm generally getting less done, but the $ doesn't seem to have changed much.

For myself, I don't think that working 10% harder would bring in 10% more. Working SMARTER or on NEW projects would be the boost I need...

For those of you up to your balls in work, do you think that you would benefit from delegating some of your workload to others? The deficit in income to cover their wages may actually turn into a surplus if they're good at it, plus you have more "you" time. Thoughts?

there is no direct correlation but i say there is an indirect effect between income and working hours
