Jesus christ... its TOO bright or TOO dark. is there some sort of tool
i can use to make sure i have the right contrast/brightness settings?

Buy this product and use it once a month. It'll do wonders for your screen and keep it consistant in color, contrast and brightness for as long as you use it. I've been using it on my screens for about 6 months - kicks major ass!

It'll run some software and then tell you what adjustments to make to bring your monitor to where it needs to be. Then, you can setup the software to remind you first of the month to recalibrate. Meant i was downloading the demo. You use it for other devices than your monitor?
