I am getting 8 to 10 bucks a dvd and I never do that net payment shit. The reason some (Ack AMA) have to do net 180 is becuase the distributors have no confidence that the stuff will sell. I said it before, AMAs stuff does nothing good. It is not good amateur becuase he is trying to be real professional and it is not good profesional becuase the lighting and camera work is just amateur.

Come on now wonderpussy, if those boxcovers bring in 8 bucks a pop and with the quality of trailers on your site then AMA can easily get 20 bucks a pop.. man, you need to wake up out of that bad dream you're having.

Mayby he could but the fact is he is only getting $6.00. Which by the way is not that bad if you sell enough. He is probably replicating them at 1 each.

The fact is that it seems many people who used OPD seem to have the same issues, promises but no outcome.

Even if the movies the guys have where sold at $10 a pop the issue is they are not seeing the money from OPD. I dont think anyone would be too happy :mad: if someone was telling them yeah I sold 100 of your DVD's but you have to wait for the money and it never comes.

I dont even have that kind of deal with Arnold. I was just to paid flat 6000$ for US rights for 4 titles. Only 3k in 3 months now. The fucker is pissing on me.

Marc, what titles did you sell? I would love to see some samples of your work.

Just went off phone with Arnold. He just paid me 3000$ that was outstanding debt.
Had a long talk to him and aparently he had some problems with the bank, so Arnold is really on my good side now, dont shit him anymore because I will end up defending this guy from now on.
He kept his promisse and paid all the money, and was only late due to the bank had some shitty problems.

Not being one to get in the middle of someone's pissing match, but we have been dealing with Arnold since August of last year. I have to say, we are more than pleased with the arrangement we have with him. He has paid us on time for invoices that were due, handed us a check at the AEE show in January, and promised a follow up check by the end of the month. On the 31st of January, a Fedex envelope arrived with another check. Nothing has ever bounced, our products are selling well, and our overall exposure has increased as we are getting our videos in front of an audience we never had before. Most people don't know who we are, but the ones that do know that we do not fuck around when it comes to our product or our money. We had been in the adult business for over six years and have seen our share of jerk offs and scammers. Our interpretation of Arnold is that he, like the rest of us, is doing what he can to grow his business. We have had our fair share of hiccups and great ideas that did not pan out. Nothing ever goes your way 100% of the time. We have all had those lean months when shit just seems to hit the fan on a constant basis. Arnold, his partner, and his entire staff made us feel very welcome at the AEE show in Vegas. My wife and our new contract girl were treated with the utmost respect, which made the show very positive for us (even though we were late every day). Until Arnold gives us a reason to view him in a negative light, we will stick with him and assist him in finding new ways that we can all make money off of our products....

Actually there are some major distributors out there that can take 120 to 180 to pay... then they ask for a discount on top... but then finally they do pay...

I wouldn't call that the norm, but it would depend on who O.P works with for distribution.

Seems those involved should find out who they deal with and if there DVD's are actually being sold or shelved.

I never wrote this someone must have logged in under my name. I have no issues or problems with Arnold or Old Pueblo. In fact we have just signed a new contract for them to distribute 24 titles from me. I know that you and your husband and a few others have had issues with them in the past.

I never worked for OPD or had any issues, and we havent had any contact with them for over two years now. But we understand where the other guys are coming from.

one thing that i don't understand is that it seems that he's ripping off the new companies that are new to the industry (which means they don't have a reputation at all) i'm sure he's straight up with a few of his clients.. i mean you can't burn all of your bridges right..

NOW I'M SORRY BUT WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU NEED INSERTS FOR????? GOT ME THINKING SOMETHINGS FISHY AND THERE'S A SKULL AND CROSSBONES FLAG FLYING HIGH ABOVE THEIR SHIP IF YOU GET MY MEANING. WE GOT AN EXTREMELY SMALL PERCENTAGE OF WHAT IS OWED TO US. BUT THERE'S ALWAYS KARMA AND WHAT COMES AROUND GOES AROUND RIGHT.
