    New personal lifting record on bench today...

    The milestone of 3 plates, 315 lbs for flat press - with relative ease. I'm 191 lbs. at 6'1

    I just finished the third week of a powerlifting routine and I've put on 4 or 5 lbs and definitely have increased my squat n' bench.

    If you guys ever want to build strength and pack on overall mass, follow this routine: Bill Starr's 5x5 Linear Powerlifting Routine (download the excel spreadsheet at the bottom)

    It's basically 3 days a week, hit squat for the first exercise... then either flat, incline, or military press for the next exercise, and then rows or deadlifts for the 3rd. At the end of this routine I should be able to hit 300x5 on flat, 315x5 for squat, and 385x5 for deadlift. (7 more weeks), so we'll see how it goes ;)

              I used to lift for bulk and power, now I am trying to lose all that crappy extra weight and slim down as that power and bulk are gone and I have border high blood pressure : (

                    i am just starting back at the gym, but im way off that

                    the other day i did chest....for my 4th set i did 185 lbs

                    10 times though

                    im not trying to reach my maximum for at least another two months

                      535x3 sqaut was more of a bragging point than my bench though... That and 320 power clean from the floor. My bench was a lil weak. Side note, after seeing pics of me at that scottsdale thing, I started running. LOL I am a mess now.

                        The three plates milestone is nothing to sneeze at.

                        I'm there for 6 reps on inclines. I don't flat bench anymore.

                              Thermagenics scare me a little. I never really messed with them too much. I will read up some more on that though. Have you used it before? Any success?

                                  the only form of appetite control a person should use is by eating. supressing hunger with drugs is never good. it's perfectly natural to experience hunger. the key is not to overeat, just to satisfy the hunger enough and that's all you need to do diet-wise (assuming you aren't satisfying with shit food) along with exercising.

                                    I eat 1-2 pills a day for 2 days, rest one day, 2 days on again. Its like speed. I really function better on the stuff in the gym, and infront of the PC.

                                      True, this product isn't meant for you to starve yourself. It will help CONTROL your appetite so you can eat 5 small meals a day and not feel hungry after eating only a couple small meals by midday.

                                            well unfortunately for you, I don't lift for the ladies, I have a gf of 4 years. i lift to get away from the computer and because it's a healthy habbit.
