rss feeds are 100% useless as promotional items if the tools to utilize it are not also offered.

what do you mean by that? I have rss2html.php on my site and all i do it run the rss through that and it converts it to html and throws it on the page

yeah, fine for a regular page, but what about on a blog?

I tried a few & none of them work with wp 1.5.2

I know certain sponsors have hit me up to ask for free consulting about how we did such a good job on SpookyBlog from SpookyCash and they still can't seem to figure out how to properly utilize the technology.

I agree...all affiliate programs should be offering RSS feeds. If they want their sites promoted, every type of promotional tool should be made available.
