    Question about domain value

    Just curious what you might estimate you would pay for a domain like this: (free appraisal service valued it at around $2800)

    1.yahoo directory listing since 1999 never paid for it to be listed there

    2. dmoz listing

    3. solid PR 5

    4. Historical use as humor and blogsite.

    5. Traffic is not outstanding right now because it's been ignored for so long. In it's heyday, 400+ uniques a day. With that PR, google picks up whatever it does really fast.

    What would you offer?

          just sort of asking this in general terms what someone might offer for something like this. i'd like to see how accurate this appraisal was. yes, i'd like to sell.

              Without knowing what the domain is, no way to tell. Where did you get the free apprasial? I can try some of my domains.
