Good light weight laptop... Thinkpads?

Are the IBM Thinkpads the best route to go for a light weight laptop? Let me know what brands you've had good or bad experience with.

my 700m is 4.2lbs and has a battery life of 4.5hrs, fully charged. (I purchased the larger, 7 cell battery upgrade).

my sis has one, its light, does the trick.. small screen for long time staring

thinkpads are the shit IMHO. Had a number of em. Have given all 3 of them away after i have gotten a new one. Each person still is using the one i've given them.

That 4.2 lbs is with the larger 7 cell battery or the standard?
