FreeEzineBucks sending 4 mailings per day

A customer of mine is complaining about receiving 4 mails from FreeEzineBucks per DAY after having subscribed.

I understand: It's their business to "spam" ... that's why they are paying us $1 per free subscription.

But I am not sure ...<UL>
<LI>... if less wouldn't be more, actually (I mean: for FEB too)
<LI>... if it's morally O.K. to refer our customers to such a "spam" nightmare?

I think they HAVE to send out 4 mailings to make some profit...their webmaster payout probably went up 500% within a months time,kinda fast to turn profit when they are mailing and don't hook a person until the 9 or 10th mail out...

The time he spent writing you to complain is probably longer than it would have taken to hit the delete key 4 times a day for a year.

An opt in list doesn't do you any good if everyone on it opts out in the first few days, so I doubt they're sending 4 emails to every subscriber daily.
Your guy probably used his email to sign up for 4 different sites, they have a shitload of categories and he probably thought he'd get more free shit that way.

We are all making bank but in 3-4 months I'm sure the vast majority of surfers have all seen to Ezine ads a million times.

I think signup ratios will always remain pretty good, but I bet CTR will drop.
I hope not, but I don't see how a program being run on every second website can stay fresh forever.
I'm guilty of using it too much, but anyone around for awhile can tell you of past programs that were hot & everyone just drove it into the ground after a few months.

I would start worrying the day that your checks bounce. I know that Hawg has a good program and they are smart enough to make sure they have the backing they need to pay webmasters for their signups. They probably aren't sending out 4 per day anyways.

A long time ago, we used to sell portions of our mailers from newest to oldest so some of the new members would get more mailers than the members who had been with us for some time. It's very important to make sure that whatever is sent out converts so this is probably what they are doing. Just testing on newer members for ratios to see if the other programs are worthy of a permanent spot. I could be wrong. I can't speak for them.

The surfer is a lucky bastard anyways. As long as they are getting what they are promised who cares? Besides if they even realized that only the best programs out there are going to be included in their "spam" they wouldn't be unsubscribing. I wish more webmasters would include this point in their sales speels.
