    My Reasons for Wanting Seattle to Win

    1. I'm a 49ers fan. I don't want to see the Steelers have more Superbowl wins than the 49ers. If the Steelers win today they'll have the record for the most Superbowl wins.

    2. Mike Holmgren, coach of the 'hawks, is a former 49ers coach. He coached both Joe Montana and Steve Young. And he's taking the 'Hawks to the big game for the first time ever. I'd love to see him win under those conditions.

    3. Paul Allen. Gotta love him. Seattle needs to win one for Paul.

                                                          A Seahawks win would definitely cement Holmgren's status as an elite coach.

                                                          Right now there's alot of doubt because he hasn't won anything without Brett Favre....same as Shanahan who hasn't won anything without John Elway.

                                                              Actually you're wrong on this one.
                                                              The niners and cowboys are tied for the record with 5 SB wins apiece.
                                                              The steelers have 4 SB wins all-time, so they would just move into a three way tie with the niners and cowboys if they were to win today.

                                                              This will also be the Steelers 6th super bowl appearance, which puts them 2 shy of Dallas' record 8 appearances.

                                                              The niners have been to a total of 5 SB's, and won every one of them.
