Hey.

I know this may seem like I am whoring myself and I am.

Basically I am in my final year of college in Australia and I am doing a marketing project which is advertising on cars.

I want to make a bit of a go of this and already have 400 signed up members ready for launch. Basically I get businesses to pay meand I create car decels and get everyone in my network to put them on their rear windscreen for a specified period.

It may seem like a small and simple idea but sometimes they are the best.

Basaically I need some money to pay for webdesigns and such and I want to offer this up to the Adult webmasters.

My car will be your whore for a week, for $50 + any printing costs (depending how big you want it!) I will be a moving advertisement for your site.

Please help out a college student who is willing to do anything to get this idea off the ground! Please email me @ [email protected]

Any accident resulting in my car becoming undrivable, will see the money refunded to the party concerned.

Also if I have my foot amputated in the period while you are advertising on my car, if I cannot get the hand controls installed in time I will refund any monies paid.

Also, to anyone who chooses to advertise, I will post a picture here of my car with your pic at a Melbourne location of my choice.

I have just spoken to my lawyer, and have instructed in my will that if I die while carrying an advert on my car, he will have access to my internet accounts to ensure he can find the concerned parties to give them a refund of there advertising monies.

If you have 400 members @$50 per month then what are you doing driving around an EL falcon? Get a newer car, and it might be better to make it white too

Also, go and register an ABN and possibly a business name. That way you may be able to claim some km travelled as a business expense (since you're providing the mobile advertising as a service). The best way unless you do a shitload of km is probably the cents per km method, which allows you to claim 63c per km for your car type, up to 5,000km. That's a $3,150 tax deduction. If you do 20,000km in a year and can reasonably say that 25% was business related then you've knocked at least $1,500 off your tax bill.

Best to talk to an accountant about how to minimise your expenses and taxes. You'll save a lot more than if you just did it as a private individual.

Oh yeah, and don't forget about GST.................

The site is not up yet cause it is in development.

It was just for email purposes and is not a name I have firmly decided on yet.

Thanks for your advice Rowan, they are some areas that I have and will be considering once this gets further into being operational.

Just like to add: I drive to the Melbourne CBD everyday and the car is parked on an open street from 8.30pm-5pm with lots of passing car and pedestrian traffic.

I drive around 500km per week and always take the back streets to get home.

Anyone with any other questions please shoot!

In regards to the cost-it was just a figure-would consider any offers over $20 depending on the size of decel!

Cool, you may be able to legitimately claim a portion of the parking fees as a business expense.

It may also help if you nominate the general location of the all day parking (RMIT? Melb Uni?) and also the suburb where you live.

Rowan: I park on St Kilda Road due to a part time job there-although I go to RMIT-and live in the outer Northern suberbs-thats all I can really give cause I dont want any pornwebmasters knocking on my door any time soon
