We've been testing a $2.95 trial on one of our sites.

For those of you who offer a trial membership what do you consider a good trial to full membership ratio?

of couse 100% would be nice!

Seriously I have never noticed a dip in income with no trials, actually it rose.

I think the www.adultlabel.com structure is the best. Only one pay option of $18.95 per month.

Last I checked 35% was the industry average.

It may be higher now though, since more programs are moving to limited trial member areas.

Ask your rep at your IPSP, they should be able to give you some numbers.

today we had 19 rebills from 43 trial joins 3 days ago. I'm going to try a limited trial member area to see how much of a differece it makes.

I don't know what other would say but here is what I think:
-Shitty site is under 20%
-Good solid site 25-30%
-Best one in this biz over 50%

totally depends on the type of site, content offered...the user..the traffic source.. the country they are from... the amount it cost for the trial....the list is huge

paycom for example won't let you have over 30% conversion from free->paid trials while other combinations you'll see over 80% .. it just depends on so many variables that there is no dead set sure answer.

You are best to do your own research

haven't had trials on my sites since 02, my lowest price is 19.95. Why should I give my content away?? Surfers minds have to change, we bear substantial costs running sites
