We booked our hotel room a week before Katrina. Non refundable.
I called a company the other day, to get some custom beads made up for me. Some of you got them last year in Miami, and a few in Vegas.
I called and asked for the person who handled my last order. They said they had'nt heard from him since the storm.
Their business was located in a 12 ft flood level area and was now running out of shipping containers. They said most of there beads were looted and were struggling to fill orders, which were coming in... which they said was a good sign.
Anyways, since I had beads made before, they allready had a diecast made to print the medallions on them, but it took them a few days to locate it becuase it was in the warehouse where they used to work out of.
Apperently the diecast that will be making our next order was under 12 feet of water in the flood, and recovered from what was left of their warehouse.
Anyways...
We will be there.....Anyone else going?
