Lars, AFF reps.. why support content theft ?

Why is AFF the prime sponsor on all Fuskers, and content theft, etc.. Do you accept these affiliates or do you terminate them ? Is this against AFF TOS ? If so, what's the procedure for shutting the fuckers down ? If you don't pay them, they won't profit so well off the stolen content.

I'm not saying anything bad against Lars or his sites, because they pay me so much money, but I think they have the mindset that most places have. "Whatever makes me money."

If you think they care, you are sadly mistaken..

T-Minus 10 minutes till an AFF rep says "oh... we didn't know... we'll look into that account.. when we have so many affiliates, it's hard to keep track... thanks for pointing it out"

I'm genuinely curious. Do they care ? If so, I wonder how they handle these things. If they don't care, why not just say so ?

Its safer to ignore than to admit wrong doing.

What you mean? they are top notch.. don't you see how much people like them?

You think with their money, it would be hard to hire 2-3 people whos job it is to go around and search for fusker sites, and password forums etc... ?

but it's better to just ignore it, keep making the money, and remain top notch

Nothing against the people, but I am with Brujah... I want to know why they support these thieving bastards. Fusker is a blight on the adult affiliate system.

WOW thanks so much I have already addressed this several time this week, WE dont support conent theft, if you show us an affilaite and you show us whoowns the original content then we will ask that affiliate to provide their licence, and if they dont provide it we shut them down its that simple. So if you have a problem go ahead and send the site to
abuse at friendfinderinc.com , with the affilaite ID and the content that is in question, and our in house legal team will investigate and take action where appropriate.

Lars, let me make it simple for you: hotlinked content is used without permission 100% of the time. There are no exceptions. If you go to ANY fusker site, the stuff is hotlinked. You don't have to go one step past there to know that it is used without permission.

Tap dancing around the fact of how fusker works doesn't look very good.

No, perhaps you kill fusker sites and perhaps you kill sites even like the one everyone is crying over today. However, AFF has been spammed on the same yahoo groups, same msn groups, same 5000 sites for years and years and years. I would imagine they've recieved a complaint or two by now. I could care less what you accept for traffic, I'm just tired of seeing everyone "calling you out" on this subject.

Perhaps you would like:

http://www.milkonya.com/

which has a nice big fusker area:

http://www.milkonya.com/fusker/index.php?lid=11463

What do you think? Do you think Met-art gave them permission to hot link all those images?

I just want to see what his opinion is. If this is acceptable, then I am going to covert 1000 domains over to fusker and make some money.

Thats fine however when youa re the 21st most visited english site on the interenet and the largest affialite program by a factor of 10 over the next biggest affialite program, you get everyone piling on inclusigna lot of shitty thieves, we do our very best to address all complaints, And out of all companies we are actually one of the most conservative sites you will find we turn down traffic every day from sites, so you may not see it but I do and I know we go to great leangths to take care of this kind of thing. My in house Councel has informed me that a better email to send complaints to is

legal (at) friendfinderinc.com

so go ahead fire away any sites you feel are infringing and we will take the appropraite action.

You won't find many sponsors that care if they are hotlinked directly (hosted galleries etc). They deal in branding / type ins / etc. They've surely seen it by now but allow hotlinking to continue for good reason. The people that are going to have a problem with it are affiliates who have been hotlinked.

It's good you keep up with it but not something I would ever take the time to report. I'm sure you just booked a few of the internet policemens night though.

welcome to the brush off.

The "send email to legal" means that IMHO, the lawyers will look, and unless there is existing case law that makes the actual stuff clearly against the law, it will be accepted.

The answer is in there somewhere.
