Anyone here ever run a hospitality suite?

Besides getting a huge suite in a fine hotel, a lot of good food all day/night, and a few hostesses in cute outfits to serve, what else do I need to provide?

The key is going to be staging so that the place doesn't get trashed. Hire a catering and bartending company that is used to dealing with presentation and cleaning as they go so that your guests don't see empty ice bags, glass ware, etc

I have ... just have to know a few things.

Pending what else you want to provide, you have the basics covered. : )

Depending on the event.... Booze, and lots of it. I've seen Lightspeed Cash burn through $10k of booze a night at Phoenix Forum.

Security, and insurance (or damage deposits) --- In 2003, our out-of-control afterhours hospitality suite at the Phoenix Forum cost us something like $8000 in damages. Cigarettes burns on the carpets and furniture, broken doors and mirrors, holes in the walls, broken glass everywhere, etc. I think we even had to pay off a few private cops to keep people from getting arrested.

Fun fun, the price of partying like rockstars I guess.

Snacks, sandwiches, some videos or other entertainment. There will also need to be a section where people can crash somewhat for a quick nap, say for about 30 min or so between events.

                  Sodas and/or bottled water.

Make sure you have a bathroom/shower with a lot of towels.

We did it a few times, make sure that you have a SUITE indeed and not just a room that you call a suite, it has to be comfortable, and of course, don't do it on your own, hire the company that caters for events like those ;)

Yeah, I'd look at the best suites, I guess it'd be good to budget $1000 a night and see what deals I could get off that. I figure I'll get top floor presidential for $1000 and spend $1000 a day on the food. Maybe another $500 to $1000 a day for the talent. For about 50 guests floating in and out during the day...

The suite would be used by about 50 people max each day. Only the super whales get the major incindentals.
