it's always good to get your 1099 from sponsors before trying to do it, however, if it is your first time doing taxes, just start by going through the software so it's not a suprise when you do get them. good luck

If you are a corp you dont need 1099's. If you joined as an affiliate with your personal SS# then the sponsors should send them if your total earnings in 05 were over $600 with that individual sponsor.

Turbotax is pretty damn user-friendly. Just stick with it and go over and over so you dont get uffed in the game.

claim all your income you made etc. I would recommend going to an accountant. You won't get a 1099 from all sponsors etc.

If you made decent money, look at becoming incoporated to help on your taxes. It saved me a shitload.

Nine out of ten sponsors will not send out a 1099.

So I hope everyone kept track of all earnings from everyone and everything.
This often means going through epassporte and finding everyone that paid you, figuring out who it was from and what it was for. Downloading the paypal portions if you used them. Checking all the checks and wires you recieved that hopefully you scanned in.

Then gathering all of your invoices you sent out or recieved, you do get those right? and all of your other assorted costs and deductions in order.

There a lot of very good reasons to incorporate. Best to talk to a good financial planner and determine the best type of corporation to suit your idividual needs.

BTW it wont help you for 05 revenue but should assist in 06
