Yeah I'd say STILL go see a lawyer about suing for the divorce, plus whatever else. If it's a strong case, they'll be paid if they win anyway right? Let THEM decide if you can afford them or not.

It's time to hire the lawyer, go to a Family Court, and file for a civila action/petition to divorce.

If they dont have kids, she should move to the other side of the country and start fresh.... if they do have kid(s), get a lawyer and move to the other side of town from the shithead.
