I agree... we are all human and we all sometimes get ourselves into embarassing situations. I'm lucky enough that all of my current friends would tell me if my "slip was showing" and I am proud to do them the same service!

Agreed. But sometimes that's a lot tougher than it seems, and those examples are a little on the lighter side as well.

A true friend is one who holds you to a higher and better standard, regardless of consequences. In this case, the true friend would let you know your slip is showing.

A TRUE friend is someone that will wipe your as for you if you need them too.

Hmm. If my friend were physically unable to because of a medical condition, perhaps.

Actually a *real* friend would chat with you a bit while the booger was hanging so only he could get in on the laugh...keep it going for a bit & then right when your about done tell you its there... a real friend would ride it a bit to have a good laugh first.
