because FF leaks memory, ive tried the patches and still get the same shit
ive gotten used to it, but id rather not have to kill FF every hour using it

I run FF without closing it for days and weeks on end, and don't have memory problems.

how much memory does your pc have? when FF is using 100K on my machine 512MB isn't cutting it...

Laptop #1 - 512MB
Laptop #2 - 1GB
Desktop - 4GB

No problems on any of them.

I always use FF.. right now it's using 88MB or ram with 6 tabs open. So, out of the 1.2GB I have 88MB isn't that bad.

the only time i have memory leak problems with FF is when downloading video content for some reason.
